City of Chicago will be removing ‘dibs’ items from parking spots

If you’ve been protecting your parking spot of choice with a chair or something you don’t want to lose, you’d better swap that with something disposable… because it might not be there when you return to park!

The Department of Streets and Sanitation will be removing your dibs markers as they clean city streets.  Starting tomorrow, March 2nd, that old cone of fold up chair will be gone!  The department announced that those objects need to go as they attempt to clean the city of melting snow.

I’d say build a snow man instead, but even that might melt before you return to park your car!
