Nope, not Florida… An alligator was casually wandering a Kenosha, Wisconsin neighborhood! On Tuesday, July 12th, police caught up with Chomper, the gator, who escaped his caretaker.

Chomper is not one of those massive dinos that crawl around the sunshine state, he’s only about 7 or 8 inches long.

KPD found this little fella taking a stroll on Kenosha’s north side this morning. The alligator was turned over to a reptile sanctuary. What job can you find where you get to do this kinda stuff? The Wisconsin gator is destined to return home to Florida before winter.
