Soldier Field was looking ROUGH during Pre-Season Opener

The Bears may have defeated the Kansas City Chiefs during their pre-season opener at Soldier Field… but they still might be feeling embarrassed by the game…

The Bears and Chiefs were able to do what looked like a season’s worth of damage to Soldier Field’s grass in just ONE game! Yahoo! Sports points out that this has been an issue for years. With the stadium sharing space with concerts and other events, the turf is really rough.

Bears kicker Cairo Santos has even said that he practices in public parks with bad grass to prepare to play in Soldier Field.

So, I’m sure Arlington Heights isn’t on anyone’s mind…
