It might seem like Chicago winters are the worst, but it turns out, that Illinois isn’t even one of the 20 coldest states!

Illinois has an average temperature of 52.7° F. It would have to be down to 49.5° F to even join those 20 in the coldest. Wisconsin did make the list, with an average temp of 44° F.
