Liam Hendriks of the Chicago White Sox rang a victory bell yesterday to celebrate his successful completion of chemotherapy for non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
There’s no firm timetable for his return to the game but he sent a video message to the fans on opening day: “I’ll see you guys on the South Side soon,” he said.
