It was opening day Friday for the Maggie Daley Park Ice Skating Ribbon in the Loop.

It’s celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and allow for two hours of skate time. Prices start at $17 for skate rental, but vary by day.

If you bring your own ice skates, admission is free during non-peak hours — otherwise it costs $5.

Currently, you can reserve ice time through Dec. 1. The next block of dates goes on sale Monday at noon.

The skating season ends March 9.
