The playoff dreams might be long gone for the Chicago Bears, but fans have another reason to celebrate at Soldier Field during the Super Bowl.
Verizon is hosting a Super Bowl watch party at the stadium, alongside parties being hosted that day in other NFL cities, the phone carrier company announced Friday.
The first-ever Super Bowl Fan Fest is bringing the big game to 30 NFL cities, including Chicago, where fans can get in-stadium and on-field access to Soldier Field and watch the game live on the big screen, according to a news release.
Fans can also expect game day food, a local DJ and meet-and-greets with Bears rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze and other NFL players, according to Verizon.
The Super Bowl Fan Fest at Soldier Field is set for Feb. 9 from 3:30-9 p.m.
Starting Friday, tickets can be requested by visiting VerizonFanFest.com. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is free to Verizon customers.
Super Bowl LIX will be held in New Orleans. Kendrick Lamar is scheduled to headline the halftime show.
