Ringo Starr took to Twitter over the weekend, posting images of himself with two very familiar faces. Paul McCartney and Joe Walsh (pictured above with Ringo) had been visiting their fellow musician at his L.A. home studio. Ringo’s former band member and brother-in-law (yes, Joe Walsh is Ringo Starr’s brother-in-law) join a long list of Classic Hits All-Stars that are contributing to Ringo’s upcoming album. The album is set to include Peter Frampton, the Eagles‘ Timothy B. Schmit, the Heartbreakers‘ Benmont Tench, longtime Eric Clapton bassist Nathan East, Mr. Mister‘s Richard Page, and Brian Wilson‘s Smile album collaborator, Van Dyke Parks.
No release date has been announced yet, but Ringo did take the time to thank Paul McCartney for stopping by and playing with him…
