Loaf Lounge in Chicago was recently named one of the “Best Bakeries Across the U.S. Right Now” by The New York Times.
The newspaper spotlighted 22 businesses that represent America’s current “bakery renaissance.”
Known for creating the chocolate cake featured in “The Bear,” Sarah Mispagel of Loaf Lounge serves up gourmet breakfast sandwiches with house-smoked capicola on flaky croissants, plus oatmeal cream pies, sourdough loaves and more alongside her husband and co-owner, Ben Lustbader, the Times reported.
Loaf Lounge is located at 2934 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago’s Avondale neighborhood.
