Museum Free Days are always a treat! Several Chicago museums are offering free days for some residents. Here’s when you can pay them a visit gratis:
Field Museum
The Field Museum announced in a release that every Wednesday in 2024 is free admission for state residents.
Residents are required to show proof of residency to receive free general admission. Tickets are available on-site only and cannot be purchased in advanced.

Shedd Aquarium
You can check out the all the aquatic attractions the Shedd Aquarium has to offer on select free admission days:
January 9-16, 23-25, 30, 31

Brookfield Zoo
The zoo is offering free admission on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from now through February. This also includes admission to the Hamill Family Play Zoo and Wild Encounters.
If you choose to drive there, parking fees will still apply.
