When Ralph Macchio stopped by the radio station a couple of years ago I was as giggly as a junior high school girl.
Karate Kid was a HUGE movie for me when I was little kid. I practiced my standing on one leg kicks, waxing on and waxing off and painting the fence.
And now it’s coming back to theaters.
To celebrate the 35th anniversary of Karate Kid – it was released Friday, June 22, 1984 – a handful of theaters in Chicagoland will show it…with a special introduction from Ralph Macchio (the Karate Kid) and William Zabka (Johnny the bad guy from Cobra Kai).
The original movie was a major success bringing in $90 million at the box office on an $8 million budget. And the trailer is still REALLY good!!
