This incredibly bitter liqueur was brought to this country by Carl Jeppson. That is his grandson in the picture. Even he can’t take a shot of Malort without gagging.

This hometown shot has been made in Florida since the 70s but CH Distillery in Pilsen is bringing it back to Chicago.

You have to try it at least once.
