Restaurants in six North Side neighborhoods are launching their own version of Chicago Restaurant Week in March.
North Side Restaurant Week is March 1-15 and will feature more than 40 restaurants, cafes, wine bars and cocktail lounges in Lincoln Square, Ravenswood, Andersonville, Edgewater, North Center, Rogers Park and Uptown.
Participating businesses — including Lincoln Square’s Luella’s Southern Kitchen, Il Milanese and The Green Post — will offer special prix-fixe menus showcasing their culinary offerings.
With so many restaurants participating, diners will be able to try a variety of cuisines, including French, Italian, Thai, Mexican, Indian and American comfort food.

This is the first time chambers of commerce for these six neighborhoods have teamed up for a restaurant week showcasing “mom-and-pop” favorites, said Lisa Ripson, Lincoln Square Ravenswood chamber spokeswoman.
“We wanted to shine some light on these different businesses during a time when it’s been a struggle over the last several years. The middle of winter is tough for restaurants, and post-pandemic, it’s been a difficult ride at times for our beloved restaurants,” Ripson said.
The event offers neighbors the chance to “show some love during the doldrums of March,” she said.
